Introduction to Drawing NEW!

Instructor: Taylor Crouch

Drawing is one of the most important activities students can do. Drawing not only provides the basis for other creative activities – like painting, sculpture and printmaking – but it also provides a direct link with reading, writing and especially mathematics. This group lesson provides a thorough and engaging introduction to drawing. Students learn how to draw with proper techniques, learning how to represent what they see through studies in contour drawing, perspective, positive/negative space, and value. By the end of the course, students will capture a complex still life.

Wednesday

Piano

Students will learn the basic principles of piano playing, begin to learn to read sheet music, engage in rhythm games and activities, create their own weekly compositions to be performed for their classmates, as well as play imaginative music and movement games.  All levels welcome!

Instructor: Ingrid Oslund

This group lesson will take classic styles and conventions used in Musical Theater to teach techniques important to any budding performer. This class will touch on the basics of tap, ballet, and jazz combined in high energy dance numbers from well-known musicals. This class will also focus on the theatricality of the movement, how to keep your face engaged and properly “act the dance” onstage

 Thursday

Guitar (All Ages) POPULAR!
