On Friday, December 16th the 4th and 5th graders at the Eliot School were in for a special treat. Opera Singers from the Longy School of Music were featured through NEMPAC’s Music Outreach Program. The opera singers opened the workshop with a performance of the Three Ladies from Mozart’s “Die Zauberfluate” (The Magic Flute). They then led the classroom into the computer lab where the students listened to a scene from “Carmen” and the famous aria “Una Fortiva Lagrima” from Elisir of Love.
