“BOSTON COMPOSERS: THEN & NOW”

The inaugural concert of the 2017/18 Bijou de la Vida Concert Series is devoted to the work of Boston’s finest Composers, past and present. This concert is a celebration of the vibrant musical culture in our city, and a tribute to the central role that the North End Performing Arts Center has played in the North End and greater Boston community. Composers featured include Leonard Bernstein, Horatio Parker, Amy Beach, Arthur Foote, Vartan Aghababian, Matthew Aucoin, and Heather Gilligan.
Performers include some of NEMPAC’s faculty: Rachele Schmiege, soprano; Shadwa Mussad, violin, Executive Director, Sherri Snow, soprano, and Artistic Director Christina Wright-Ivanova.
