DESCRIPTION:Learn about the history and highlights of this 400-year-old art form\, with a presentation and live performances of some of opera’s most beloved pieces. Great for those new to opera and seasoned opera-goers alike!  Dr. Pamela Feo\, musicologist and NEMPAC Development Manager\, will lead attendees through the development of opera through the Classical and Romantic periods and into the 20th century. Live performances will include works by Mozart\, Puccini\, and Copland.  This event is for Seniors.
