As we approach ‘the most wonderful time of the year’, we invite you to join our
NEMPAC Holiday Community Choir!
Who: All families, individuals, neighbors are invited to join us. Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. The choir will be directed by Ms. Susan Davies.
What: This choir will be a multi-generational, community choir which will learn and sing seasonal holiday carols and songs in preparation for a community sing on December 5th! Prior singing experience is not required. Our expectation is that you will learn how sing in a group, become familiar with reading music, and will build more relationships in the community while creating music with your neighbors, children, family, and/or friends!
Where: Rehearsals will be at NEMPAC (our building located off the Prado. Should additional space be required, we will keep our singers up to date on any changes).
When: Our Rehearsals will be on Sunday’s, Nov. 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th from 5:00 p.m. – 5:50 p.m. with a Community Sing / Performance on Friday, December 5th at 6 p.m. to launch the North End Holiday Stroll! Participation and attendance at rehearsals is important for us to work together and learn our music in harmony. We hope you will come each week! Participation at the performance is not required. We are planning for our choir to continue in the Winter & Spring 2015!
