Daniel Stein

Music has been an integral part of Daniel’s life since age 4, when he began taking piano lessons in earnest.  He grew up in a musical/artistic family as his grandfather was a self-taught jazz musician and composer.  He received 15+ years of private instruction from a Master Teacher of the classical persuasion, and continued his studies in both High School and College, where he majored in Music and minored in Education.  During his schooling years he participated in recitals, state competitions, jazz band, choir, and more.  He have been sharing his love and passion for the study of music with pupils for over 15 years.  He teaches not only music theory, but also technique and ear training.  He is very proud to be part of the growing team of professionals here at NEMPAC, and looks forward to meeting new students here in the Boston area!
