Erika Rohrberg
Flute Instructor
Erika is a Boston-based performer and a current master’s student at the New England Conservatory of Music, where she is a student of Cynthia Meyers. She graduated with a Bachelor of Music from The Hartt School in 2020, where she was a student of Janet Arms. Erika is a current member of the NEC Philharmonia, the NEC Wind Ensemble, and is an active participant in chamber music as well; her involvement in chamber music has included duos with percussion and guitar, trios, flute quartets, and the Performance 20/20 Woodwind Quintet. During her time at Hartt, Erika was a member of groups such as Foot in the Door, the Hartt Orchestra, and Collegium, Hartt’s baroque ensemble An active competitor, Erika was selected this fall as a finalist in NEC’s annual concerto competition for winds, brass, and percussion. In 2020, she was a finalist in the Eastern Connecticut Symphony Orchestra’s Instrumental Concerto Competition; in 2018, she was a finalist in Hartt’s annual Paranov Concerto Competition. Erika has performed in masterclasses for many renowned soloists and orchestral musicians, including Stef n H skuldsson, Elizabeth Rowe, and Emmanuel Pahud. A native of Massachusetts, Erika enjoys baking and running in her spare time.
