Here is your weekly NEMPAC update:
1) This week our special, free workshop of the week is on Rock Band Instruments! Come join us as our workshop staff, Morgan Bernhard, Brian Bernhard, and Courtney LaFlamme lead our audience through an interactive workshop on rock bands and their instruments. Come learn some new tunes, try out instruments and learn how a rock band works!
Monday, August 12th
1:00 pm – 2:00pm, Ages 11+
2:30 pm – 3:30pm, Ages 11 and under
All workshops are on the Prado!
2) This Thursday, NEMPAC is hosting a family friendly concert starring Jeremy Sarzana and his band! Come hear Jeremy’s rock band play on the prado this Thursday, August 15th at 7:00 pm. Think you might want to join in? Bring your instrument along as there will be a special Jammin with Jeremy portion to the concert!
Don’t miss the pre-concert, free craft activity and instrument petting zoo on the prado starting at 5:30pm!
3) NEMPAC will be at the West End Children’s Festival this Saturday, August 17th from 12:00-3:00 pm! Come out to this Children’s festival and enjoy all the offerings, including a NEMPAC student performance, crafts table and instrument petting zoo! Bring the whole clan for this free day of family fun!
