1) On Monday, July 15 we will have a free, interactive music workshop on the Prado. This week we will be featuring percussionist Gary Fieldman! Gary will introduce our workshop participants to rhythm and percussion, as well as creating percussion music in groups. All ages are welcome!
1:00 – 2:00 pm: ages 11 and older
2:30-3:30 pm: ages 10 and younger
2) This Thursday, NEMPAC will be presenting it’s first Family Night! Starting at 5:30, the prado will be filled with families exploring the rich cultural history of the North End with pre-concert activities from the Paul Revere House, the Historical Society and Old North Church! Starting at 6:45 pm, young performers from Boston and beyond will be performing a concert on a special, City of Boston stage! Don’t miss our solo performances, as well as our featured kids ensemble, the Dudamel Brass Band! Also- world recognized artist and North End resident, Giovanni Decunto will be painting the NEMPAC hosted, celebrity series, “Pop Up Piano!”
