Here is a reminder about the FREE NEMPAC events this week:
1) On Monday, July 22nd, we will be presenting our 3rd weekly, interactive music workshop. This week, two local Boston singers will be presenting a workshop on the American Songbook and music from the 1920’s. They will sing and lead our audience through various exercises to help better understand standard American repertoire! Don’t miss the fun! All ages are welcome on the prado for this workshop!
1:00 – 2:00 pm: ages 11 and older
2:30-3:30 pm: ages 10 and younger
2) At 7:00 pm on Thursday, July 25th NEMPAC is partnering with Opera on Tap, a local Boston group that brings music to local bars, restaurants and outdoor plazas in the city. As with our Monday workshop, the FREE concert will focus on classic American Songbook pieces, by your favorite American composers. Don’t miss Rogers and Hammerstein, Cole Porter and other favorites! This special concert begins at 7:00 pm,on the Prado. Everyone is welcome!
