NEMPAC and North End Against Drugs are accepting applications for teen and young adult paid internships this summer July – August 2014! Interns will be students ages 15 – 21 and enrolled in a full-time high-school or undergraduate program. Students should have an interest in the arts, be a local North End or Boston resident, and be available for day-time and week night work hours, for up to 20 hours per week. Interns with an interest in pursuing studies in music, music education, or marketing arts administration are highly encouraged to apply. Priority will be given to candidates who have shown prior or current involvement with NEMPAC or N.E.A.D. in our North End community. Intern responsibilities include: teaching artists in children’s summer programs, event staff at our summer concert series, planning summer activities for our community, marketing, attending a few training sessions, and weekly staff meetings with intern adviser.
