Office Administrative Assistant to the Executive Director

Description:

NEMPAC is seeking a part-time office administrative assistant to the Executive Director. Job responsibilities can be found below.

Schedule: In-office work hours: Total 8 hours per week. Work hours are Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. – Noon and Monday, 9 am – 11 am. This is a seasonal position from September 2014 – June 2015.

Data Entry / Registrar: 

-Process Program Registrations in Excel

-Enter Customer Invoices in Quick-books

Office Help/ Administration:

-Answer office phone / receptionist

-Assist with mailings; end of the year appeal, donor letters, program     notices to parents

-Keep office calendar up to date

-Filing / Archiving Records

-Managing in-office supplies / building supplies

Marketing:

-Create monthly e-newsletter

-Updating our website with new events

-update stories or press releases on our website and neighborhood e-newsletters

-hang flyers / posters / brochures

-Keep community calendar (NEWF) calendar up to date with all events

 

Qualifications:

Candidates must have knowledge and familiarity of quick-books, Google Docs and Excel; have excellent communication skills, time management skills, and phone skills; must be organized and efficient; have editing / proof reading skills, and strong attention to detail. Experience with Word-press is plus, but we will train the right candidate on this application. Seeking an individual who is especially interested in supporting our mission at NEMPAC. Resident of the North End preferred, but not required.
