About Rebecca Miller

Rebecca Miller, originally from New York, is a New England-based theater artist. She graduated from Brandeis University with a BA in Theater Arts and a minor in history. Rebecca fell in love with the arts while training with Looking for Shakespeare (NYU Steinhardt) and at Usdan Center for the Arts. At Brandeis, Rebecca acted and directed in productions with the Brandeis Theater Company and undergraduate theater groups. Her first play, Amaranthine, was performed as part of the annual Brandeis Department of Theater Arts Senior Festival and won the Harold and Mimi Steinberg Prize for Best Original Play. Currently, Rebecca is the development assistant at Trinity Repertory Company in Providence, RI, where she has also assisted Academy Award Nominee Richard and Sharon Jenkins on Oliver! at Trinity Repertory Company and served as a director for Trinity Rep’s Write Here, Write Now Student Playwriting Festival for young writers between ages 14 and 17. She has had the opportunity to learn from leaders in the arts at organizations such as the Broadway League, the Actors Fund, and SpeakEasy Stage Company. She cannot wait to build an amazing summer theater experience with her students!
