NEMPAC’s Teen Interns are integral in helping programs and classes run smoothly! Teens develop leadership skills and foster communication and organizational skills while gaining experience working with young children.
Interns will run warm-ups and games, help with set up and break down, lead parts of lessons, and more! The duties of each intern will vary based on their strengths and interests as well as the classroom needs. They will be considered a “mentor” to the students and are expected to be good examples throughout the session while upholding NEMPAC’s core values. Teens can apply to be an intern in our fall, winter, or spring class sessions, as well as various workshops over the summer.
The Teen Internship Program is in partnership with the City of Boston SuccessLink Career Development Program.
