Adult Studio

At NEMPAC we are expanding our group class offerings for adult learners this fall.  To support the further development of our adult students, along with the social benefit of our adult programming, we are now referring to all of our adult programs comprehensively as the NEMPAC Adult Studio. 

To accommodate our returning musicians, we have created new ‘Club Levels’ in both Piano (Keyboard)  and Ukulele Within the NEMPAC Adult Studio.  The Club levels provide a unique setting to improve technique in a mixed-skill level small group class, where individual attention will be supported. The Piano (Keyboard) Club will focus on fun repertoire, improvisation, singing and playing together, and overall jamming!  Depending on the level of the participants, we may add on advanced chords and repertoire to learn together. The Ukulele Club will focus on improvisation, singing and playing together, and overall jamming! Depending on the level of the club participants, we may add on advanced chords, strumming, and fingerpicking, as well as scales and arpeggios.  For both the Piano and Ukulele Club levels, we recommend that students have completed Piano III and/or Ukulele 2 or be at an intermediate level if you are new to NEMPAC.

For those who are just getting started, we are still offering our Keyboard Levels I, II, and III classes.  We are combining Ukulele 1 and Guitar 1, with the option to take half the session (4 weeks) for each separate instrument, or to take the combined class for the entire 8 week session.  To register for the Intro to Ukulele and Guitar 1 CLICK HERE!.

2. Free access to practice room space at our Prado facility on a reserved basis
3. Free community drop-in practice hours on Fridays in our Piano Lab (for piano/keyboard only)
