PARKING & PUBLIC TRANSPORT:  

Validated parking available at the Haymarket Center Garage (entrance on Sudbury St).  

The Boston Public Market is located directly above the Haymarket MBTA station (Orange and Green Lines, MBTA bus routes) and three blocks from North Station (Commuter Rail & Amtrak, Orange and Green Lines). Bike parking is located directly outside the Market on the plaza opposite the Greenway. Two Hubway bike share stations are located nearby, on Cross Street across the Greenway and on Congress Street along the side of City Hall.

ACCESSIBILITY: Boston Public Market is fully accessible, including wheelchair access.

HOW TO SIGN UP & PARTICIPATE

✍️  STEP 1: SIGN UP by March 3! Fill out this form to get more information and sign up! 

🎶  STEP 2: PRACTICE! Talk to your instructor and decide what piece to perform! Then practice at home and in lessons.

💰 STEP 3: COLLECT PLEDGES! Once you receive your fundraising page, start collecting pledges from your family, friends, and those close to you! Funds raised benefit the NEMPAC Tuition Assistance program and educational programming. There are also PRIZES for the students that collect the most pledges!

🎤 STEP 4: PERFORM! Arrive at the Boston Public Market for your assigned time slot and perform your chosen piece(s)!

💌 STEP 5: SEND THANK YOU NOTES – Pick up NEMPAC branded thank you cards after your performance. Decorate and personalize them, and send out to those that pledged you!

WHY PARTICIPATE?

👐   GIVING BACK TO THEIR FELLOW STUDENTS –  Every dollar raised this year will go DIRECTLY to NEMPAC’s Education Programs and Tuition Assistance Program. Every year, this is a wonderful opportunity for NEMPAC students to give back to other students in their community who cannot otherwise afford lessons or classes. By performing and collecting pledges, this peer-to-peer fundraising enhances our community engagement and gives students a sense of accomplishment in doing something for their peers.

🎶 BENEFITS OF LIVE PERFORMANCE – Performing in a concert, recital or event is so important for music students! It gives them a chance to work on their performance skills, support their fellow student musicians, and show off their months of hard work! It gives the students something to work toward and prepare for and provides a special event that they’ll remember for years to come.

🏆  BIGGER AND BETTER PRIZES

• 🥇 Pledge Prizes: The top 3 students who collect the most pledges this year will win something very special! 
• 🗳️ Nomination Prizes: NEMPAC administration and faculty will be nominating and choosing 3 students to win a superlative award for their work in their lessons and classes! 
• 📸 Professional Photo Shoot Opportunity: The first ****NINE*** students to sign up will be able to join our Performer Photo Shoot on Sunday, March 9th from 12 – 1:30pm. Students will get professionally photographed with their instrument. Photos will be sent to families for personal use and be featured in NEMPAC marketing materials and on our Performer Board throughout the Pledge Me Campaign! **Please note that students that participated in the photo shoot last year will not be able to do so this year***
• 🎟 Raffle Entry: All students who sign up by the March 3rd deadline will also receive one raffle ticket to be entered into a raffle package of their choosing. 
• 🛍️ Goody Bags: EVERY performer who collects pledges will receive a special goody bag!
