What happens when a larger-than-life dreamer meets the power of music? Part of NEMPAC’s collaborative Artist Series, The Impossible Quest of the Unlikely Hero: A Musical Tapestry of Don Quixote takes audiences on a musical adventure inspired by one of literature’s most beloved and eccentric heroes! Featuring music in Spanish, French, English, and Russian, this vibrant program celebrates the imagination, idealism, and wonderfully unpredictable spirit of Don Quixote.
In collaboration with Harvard University’s Department of English, this unique concert brings music and literature together in an engaging, multimedia experience. Enjoy projected illustrations and artwork inspired by the world of Don Quixote, along with fascinating insights from a guest lecturer from Harvard. Whether you’re a longtime fan of Cervantes’ classic tale or discovering this unlikely hero for the first time, come along for an adventure that reminds us all to dream big, embrace the unexpected, and never stop chasing the impossible!
