The 8th Annual Cornhole Classic was a smashing success on the Rose Kennedy Greenway, raising vital funds for the North End Music and Performing Arts Center (NEMPAC) and the Community Music Center of Boston (CMBC) to support accessible arts education for North End residents. This year’s event brought together an enthusiastic crowd and special guests including Governor Maura Healey and Mayor Michelle Wu, who joined in the fun for a friendly cornhole match to champion the power of the arts in our community.
A heartfelt thank you to Chair of House Ways and Means and State Representative Aaron Michlewitz, for once again organizing and hosting this community-driven event, with Tevin Wooten energizing the crowd as MC. We’re also deeply grateful to Ed Kane and Big Night Live for providing equipment, DJ Kareem for keeping the vibes high with live beats, and to all of our sponsors, volunteers, participants, and supporters who made this day unforgettable. Your support ensures that the arts remain vibrant and accessible in Boston.
The winners of the 2025 Cornhole Classic Tournament are:
- 1st Place: Arthur Nguon & Tonh Dom
- 2nd Place: Sho Her & TJ Snedicker
- 3rd Place: Jordan Valentine & Ron Deas
Proceeds from Cornhole go to support the Geraldine Marshall Scholarship Fund, supporting need-based scholarships for music students at NEMPAC and CMCB.
