Dermot Gleeson

Dermot Gleeson is a guitarist from Saratoga, California. He has been teaching for more than 10 years through private lessons, coaching chamber music, giving masterclasses, and leading workshops. As a performer, he has been fortunate to collaborate with singers, fellow guitarists, and other instrumentalists in duos, as well as with larger ensembles such as Ensemble Affettuoso, the Horizon Ensemble, NEC Symphonic Winds, and NEC Philharmonia. He obtained his Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degrees in Guitar Performance from the New England Conservatory of Music, where he studied with Eliot Fisk and Dr. Jérôme Mouffe.
