Zahili Gonzalez Zamora is a Cuban-born pianist, composer, bandleader, arranger, and educator. Raised in Manzanillo, she began piano studies at age six and graduated from Cuba’s National School of Music. Now based in the United States, her artistic identity is deeply shaped by her Cuban heritage and immigrant experience.
Her career has taken her across Canada, Southeast Asia, and the U.S., cultivating a global musical voice rooted in Afro-Cuban traditions and modern jazz. As a performer and composer, she is recognized for her expressive improvisation and dynamic leadership.
Committed to growth and connection, Zahili shares her music as a reflection of resilience, identity, and cultural dialogue, establishing herself as a distinctive and influential voice in today’s Afro Cuban jazz landscape.
