North End: Thursdays at 3:25pm; Charlestown: Mondays at 4:30pm and Wednesdays at 4:30pm

Fall Registration opens June 8th!
Junior Instrument Explorers invites students ages 6–8 to discover the world of music through hands-on exploration and group music-making. Over the course of ten weeks, students will be introduced to a variety of instrument families while building curiosity, confidence, and foundational musical skills in a fun and supportive classroom environment.
Students will explore instrument families including brass, woodwind, and percussion through engaging activities, games, listening exercises, and beginner-friendly instrument playing. Throughout the class, students will develop basic rhythm, listening, and ensemble skills while experimenting with different sounds, instruments, and musical roles in a collaborative group setting.
Throughout the session, the class will work together on a shared class song featuring each student’s favorite instrument. The final week will conclude with a special shareformance where families are invited into the classroom to celebrate what students have learned and discover each student’s “destiny instrument.”
The fall session runs Thursdays, September 17 – December 3, 2026 in the North End.
