Assistant Producer- the NEMPAC Opera Project


  • Assist the Artistic Director with administrative tasks, including artist and staff contracts, venue coordination, vendor correspondence and more.
  • Serve as artist liaison and audition coordinator for the NEMPAC Opera Project, 2016 production. Be present at various music and staging rehearsals in May and June, 2016.
  • Assist with load in weekend at Faneuil Hall.
  • Work with Marketing Director and Artistic Director on any media or public relations projects.
  • Most work from November to mid-May can be done from home (off site), with the exception of a few production meetings and audition weekends in January.
  • Assist with general production needs from November, 2015- June, 2016


  • Highly Organized
  • Have previous experience or education in Arts Administration and/or Production.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills.
  • Enjoy working with a team.
  • Enjoy working with artists and assisting to create and maintain a positive and supportive production atmosphere.
  • Passionate about the Arts with an interest in Opera.
  • Must have a positive and flexible attitude.
  • A perfect position for someone looking to gain experience in arts administration, production and management work.
