Age: 6-8
Fall registration opens June 8th!
Students ages 6–8 will explore the fundamentals of piano in a fun and supportive small-group setting. Designed for both complete beginners and students continuing from our early childhood piano classes, this course helps young musicians build confidence at the keyboard while developing foundational music skills.
Students will learn note names across the keyboard, explore rhythm and music reading, and begin playing simple melodies and songs. Throughout the class, students will work through a piano method book while building listening skills, creativity, and musical independence through games, activities, and guided instruction. Students will also have opportunities for duet and ensemble playing as they grow more comfortable performing with others.
Class time includes a balance of review, new music, individualized support, and interactive musical activities to keep students engaged and learning at their own pace.
