Musical Theatre

NEMPAC’s Music Theatre Program, starting with Kids Music Theatre at age 5 and continuing through Music Theatre Troupe at age 13, provides students with a better understanding of how they can tell a story with their bodies, voices, and imaginations. Through games, improvisation, and rehearsals, students build their communication, public speaking, and collaboration skills. Their confidence and self-esteem grow as they participate in theatre: the perfect creative outlet to let the imagination run wild!

Act! Sing! Dance! This continuation of our Musical Theatre (GR K1-1) class prepares students for our Music Theatre Troupe. This is a great option for students who aren’t able to participate in our Fall and Spring musicals but still want to get their Broadway on! They will participate in improvisation and acting games, use their bodies and imaginations to make characters come to life, and learn the basic techniques of singing and dancing show tunes.
