Tuesdays from 3:25 – 4:25 p.m. in the North End or Saturdays from 1 - 2pm in Charlestown

Jam out in this special NEMPAC ensemble that provides students who sing or already play an instrument with the opportunity to join their peers in an instructor-led ensemble focusing on rock and pop! Rock out in the limelight to superstars like Bruno Mars, Sara Bareilles, Queen, the Beatles, and more! Students will develop and build on fundamental techniques on their chosen instruments, as well as valuable team building skills, and ensemble playing. They’ll even have a chance to play at three performances throughout the year for their adoring fans and groupies!
*This ensemble requires an audition placement. The audition is for NEMPAC faculty to assess your skill level and style in order to place you in the most appropriate ensemble grouping
Prerequisite: Students must have at least 1 year of experience playing their chosen instrument. Instruments available to have a placement audition for are Guitar, Bass, Vocals, Drums, Keyboard, Saxophone, Violin, Flute, Clarinet, Trumpet. We encourage students to enroll in private lessons to further develop their skills and enhance their ensemble-playing experience.
