The PAC Rock Band
North End: Tuesdays at 3:25pm; Charlestown: Mondays at 4:30pm
Age: 10-14
Registration opens on June 8th!
This is a full year program.
The PAC Rock Band gives students ages 10–14 the opportunity to perform, collaborate, and build confidence in an exciting instructor-led ensemble focused on rock and pop music. Students who sing or already play an instrument will work together as a band while exploring music by artists such as Bruno Mars, Sara Bareilles, Queen, The Beatles, and more.
Students will strengthen fundamental technique on their chosen instrument while developing ensemble skills, musical communication, stage presence, and collaboration through rehearsals and group performances. Band members will learn how to listen, rehearse, and perform together in a supportive and energetic environment that encourages creativity, teamwork, and musical growth. Throughout the year, students will prepare a variety of songs for live performances and community events.
This ensemble is designed for students with prior musical experience who are excited to make music with others and continue developing their performance skills in a group setting. Students will have opportunities to perform throughout the year for family, friends, and the community.
