This year, the Marshall Scholarship Fund student awardees were honored at the State House by Commonwealth of Massachusetts Chair of House Ways and Means and State Representative, Aaron Michlewitz, during the Italian-American Heritage Month celebration. Representing the awardees was student Alexandru Cristescu, along with NEMPAC’s Director of Educational Programs, Allie Carufel. In total 7 students received full-tuition Geraldine Marshall Fund Scholarships for participating in a music or performing arts program of their choice, including music lessons, dance classes, and musical theatre programs. Due to the incredible support of our community, the fund was able to support an additional full scholarship this year.
Lola Bruno, Emilia Bruno, Alexandru Cristescu, Isabella Ireland, Ryan Mendes, Noah Mendes, and Stephanie Payne all received Geraldine Marshall Scholarships.
In addition, NEMPAC matched this commitment by awarding 7 full tuition-assistance awards to 7 additional deserving students, with support from the Annual Fund and annual Performathon event in April.

Thank you Rep. Michlewitz and all of the generous people involved with the Annual Cornhole Tournament, for making these scholarships possible!
NEMPAC is committed to equity and accessibility in all of our programs so that learners and artists of all ages and abilities can learn, grow, and thrive.
