We are thrilled to have Grant Jacoby join our Musical Theatre Troupe team as choreographer for the upcoming musical production of Peter Pan Jr.

Grant Jacoby was born and raised in Wellesley, Massachusetts, where he Peter Pan Jr. Choreographerbegan his dance training at the Kathy McCrohon Dance Center and as a featured dancer in countless musicals. Grant graduated Magna Cum Laude from Connecticut College in 2013, where he received his BA in Dance and Theater. He also studied at Trinity/La MaMa Urban Arts Semester, Bates Dance Festival, MADE in France, and Movement Workshop Group’s Graham Intensive.

He has performed in works by Lisa Race, Heidi Henderson, Mark Dendy, Annie Kloppenberg, Lauren Simpson, Intimations Dance, and Mariah Steele and in venues such as Triskelion Arts, Festival St-Ambroise Fringe de Montreal, SomDance, AUNTS/Arts @ Renaissance, and the American College Dance Festival.

Grant founded his own modern dance company, Grant Jacoby & Dancers, in October 2013, and has presented work throughout New York City, Boston, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and France including, but not limited to: La MaMa ETC, Green Street Studios, The Dance Complex, Les Champs Melisey, Third Life Studios, RAW Boston, and The International Festival of Arts & Ideas, as well as residencies  at The Dragon’s Egg and Green Street Studios.

Aside from his company work, he has also choreographed at The Roxbury Latin School, Next Door Theater, OnStage Dance Company, as well as the premiere workshop and production of Friday the 13th: The Musical at Connecticut College. Grant currently teaches at Boston Ballet and performs for Quicksilver Dance and other independent choreographers.
