NEMPAC is pleased to announce auditions for our June, 2015 posting of Puccini’s, La Boheme. The production will be performed in Italian, fully staged and with full orchestra from June 25th- 28th (4 performances). Rehearsals start mid May, 2015. We are hearing singers for all roles, covers and chorus. An accompanist will be provided for all auditions.
- We will be hearing both mezzos and sopranos for the role of Musetta.
- Modest stipends are provided for principal roles.
Auditions will be held at Boston University on:
Friday, January 16th, 2015: 4:00 – 9:00 pm
Saturday, January 17th, 2015: 11:00 am- 3:00 pm
Sunday, January 18th, 2015: 1:00 pm- 5:00 pm
Please prepare 3 arias, 1 must be in Italian and ideally by Puccini or in a similar style.
Please bring a paper copy of your resume and headshot to your audition.
Call back auditions: Saturday, January 24th, 2015 by appointment and starting at 10:00 am.
All call back materials will be available on the NEMPAC website by December 15th.
