On a bitterly cold night, familiar and new friends of NEMPAC ventured out to experience a powerfully moving concert at the North Bennet Street School entitled “I Have a Dream…” in celebration of Martin Luther King Day. Artistic Director Christina Wright-Ivanova, pianist, was joined by four exceptional artists, Stephen Marotto, cello; Jessica Nicolet, soprano; Kristin Young, soprano; and Sarah Ryu-Ping, violin. Sarah is a member of NEMPAC’s faculty.
The thoughtful selection of musical pieces took the audience on a journey through an array of perspectives of the American Dream. It was a memorable evening of reflection and superb artistic expression.
