NEMPAC and Charlestown Working Theater celebrated our organizational collaboration and the 250th anniversary of the Battle of Bunker Hill by marching in the Bunker hill Day Parade in Charlestown this past Sunday. Volunteers marched along with a trolley carrying the Dirty Water Brass Band, who kept everyone dancing along the parade route with a mix of soul, R&B, and New Orleans classics. Special shoutout to our youngest volunteers and banner holders: Atticus, Adrian, Annika, Neriah, Tess, and Wesley. Special thanks to Executive Director of the Charlestown Working Theater, Kristin Johnson, for helping to organize the parade day for our group.
We look forward to our continued work with Charlestown Working Theater and our expanding presence in the Charlestown Community, with musical theatre camps and programs this summer, as well as our full range of educational programming resuming this fall.
