Head to the North End Public Library on Friday, Oct. 7th, 3:30-5:00 p.m, for this educational event featuring our guest teaching artist David Stevens! Kids Music Day is a nation-wide effort to bring music into the lives of children. You can check out the programs participating, NEMPAC included, at http://www.kidsmusicday.org/. The theme of the workshop is “Rhythm” and it is suited for kids aged Kindergarten and up. The class will include rhythm games and an instrument petting zoo. A musical crafts table will be ongoing as well, with options to make your own water bottle flutes, bottle cap castanets, and paper towel roll Kazoos! This class is drop in, and is free and open to the public, so come on out and celebrate with us!
