Let the countdown begin for our ultimate welcome back from summer party! On Thursday, September 19, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., we’ll host our beloved Fall Soirée | Party in the Prado, an annual fundraiser to support the continued expansion of arts programming in Boston. We’ll transform the Prado into an outdoor jazz club, and live musicians will entertain our guests amidst a canopy of trees and a backdrop of stars glistening in the nighttime sky.

This festive evening is sure to entertain, engage, and enthrall you and your friends all at the same time. Get ready for a relaxing night complete with dining on Little Italy’s finest fare and dancing to the accompaniment of New Orleans jazz from local musicians on the rise, Rebecca Jean Smith and friends.

The best part about being a partygoer on the Prado? Your mixing and mingling helps us help artists of all ages and abilities through our community music school and performing arts center.

“To put it simply, attendees of the Soirée value NEMPAC’s mission,” said Sherri Snow, executive director at NEMPAC. “Community members who come to the fundraiser help us foster vibrant Boston neighborhoods where music and performing arts fill the streets with creativity, spark connections, and inspire us to be our best selves.”

You can purchase either individual adult tickets (21-plus) or a table for four. Back by popular demand, this table-for-four option is the same price as four individual adult tickets and guarantees your party reserved seats right near the stage for the entire fundraiser.

As a guest at the Fall Soirée, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in an 88-key raffle. By sponsoring a key on the piano, you’ll enter into a raffle complete with some of the most sought-after experiences and items on the market.

To access the raffle, you can purchase either a $50 white key for three entry tickets or a $100 black key for 10 entry tickets. Among the incredible prizes you’ll be eligible to win include:

  • A One-Night Stay at ENCORE Boston Harbor — Recharge from the hustle and bustle of your schedule by booking one room for one night (excluding U.S. holidays and New Year’s Eve) at this luxury resort.
  • Five Disney World One-Day Hopper Passes — Who needs the hassle of crowds and lines? You don’t. And you won’t. Especially not with these fast passes to the Orlando theme park valid until April 19, 2021.
  • Romantic Dinner and Theatre Package — This grand prize is for the lovers of live theatre and the foodies among us. The package includes two tickets to Boston Lyric Orchestra “I Pagliacci” (September 27 to October 6, 2019) and “Giulio Cesare” (May 8 to 13, 2019) paired alongside a nine-course Italian feast at Table Boston by Jen Royle.
  • Four Celtics vs. Knicks Suite Tickets — The only thing better than watching the pros shoot some hoops at TD Garden is watching the pros shoot some hoops at TD Garden from your own luxury suite. The first quarter kicks off at 7:30 p.m. on November 1, 2019.
  • Bruins Autographed Hockey Stick — Signed. By.The Entire. Team. Need we say more?
  • Two Tickets to Jonas Brothers Concert — Get ready to sing along to all your favorite JoBros tunes on November 24, 2019 at TD Garden.
  • One NEMPAC Season Pass — We have to admit we’re especially partial to this prize! Our season pass provides unparalleled access to renowned artists and reserved seating at our professional performance series, annual holiday concert, as well as the 2020 production of The Opera Project.

“Attendees’ donations from the Soirée via ticket sales and the optional special raffle will allow us to continue focusing on our mission to ensure arts programming is accessible to all,” said Snow. “For NEMPAC, accessibility means affordability, convenience for working parents, physically-accessible spaces, artistic discipline, and programmatic inclusivity.”

The funds raised during the Fall Soirée directly benefit our community music school and performing arts center. Our band of volunteers ensure that all proceeds from the Fall Soirée go toward programming, rather than overhead. All of this is to say that Thursday night’s festivities would not be possible without these caring, dedicated individuals who donate their time and talents to manage this event. We offer sincere gratitude to our band of volunteers:

  • Emile Baker
  • Dave Crocini
  • Melanie Crocini
  • Shannon Fitzgerald
  • Rose-Marie Gomez
  • MaryGaye Grizwin
  • Jennifer McGivern
  • Dianne Royle
  • Chad Wolfson

Due to the unwavering generosity of our neighborhood sponsors, we’re able to transform the Prado into an outdoor jazz club and offer our guests the finest of Little Italy’s beverages, hors’doeuvres, and sweet treats throughout the evening. We extend heartfelt thanks to this year’s Fall Soirée sponsors:

“We believe that we are all musicians and performers,” said Snow. “We believe that participation in the arts can transform lives. And we believe that everyone should have access to the arts.”

When you purchase a ticket to our Fall Soirée | Party in the Prado, you play an integral part in fueling these beliefs.
