Anissa Perona

Private Voice, Piano, Kids Vocal Discovery and Pop Stars Ensemble

Anissa Perona (she/her) is a performer and educator based out of Boston. In addition to NEMPAC, she is also an Adjunct Voice Instructor at Dean College and on the voice faculty at the Franklin School for the Performing Arts. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance/Musical Theatre from NYU Steinhardt as well as an MFA in Musical Theatre Vocal Pedagogy from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee. She has performed locally at the Franklin Performing Arts Center in their productions of School of Rock, The Producers, and Little Women; as well as at several notable cabaret venues in NYC such as Feinstein’s/54 Below and The Green Room 42. She has additionally recorded narrations for two audiobooks on Audible. Anissa has presented her master’s thesis research at The Voice Foundation Symposium and the Pan-American Vocology Association in 2024. She has music directed locally at Brookline High School for two of their musical productions, is a member of NATS New England/Boston Chapter, and recently served on the planning committee for the NATS New England Regional Conference. She is so excited to be joining the team at NEMPAC!
