Katie Raney

Katie first became involved with NEMPAC as a trumpet instructor from 2017-2018, and is thrilled to now serve as the organizations’ Educational Operations Coordinator!

A native of Mansfield, MA, Katie holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Trumpet Performance from Boston University and DePaul University, respectively. Since moving back to Boston in 2021, she has held various teaching positions both as a private lessons teacher and classroom teacher. For the past three years, she worked as an associate teacher in Beacon Hill’s Park Street School, as well as a brass instructor for Thayer Conservatory in Lancaster, MA.

Though performing still holds a special place in Katie’s heart, her true passion lies in education. She is so excited to bring her love of the arts and education to the community!
