Olivia Michalak

Vacation Week Choreographer
Olivia Michalak is a dance educator and choreographer with over a decade of experience working in public and private schools, and non-profit organizations throughout the greater Boston area. She is passionate about developing unique choreography for musical productions with performers of all ages and abilities, and guiding performers to be the most confident version of themselves! Olivia loves to bring musicals to life through character-driven physicality, and ensemble choreography! Her teaching is rooted in Anne Green Gilbert’s Brain Dance, which uses eight fundamental movement patterns of human development as a full body and brain experience. In addition to being a licensed dance and theatre educator, Olivia holds a MA in Movement Teaching & Direction from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London, and a BA in Theatre Performance and English Literature from Rider University. She is looking forward to joining NEMPAC for the February Break program!
