Handel’s “Messiah”

 Wed. December 9th at 7:00 p.m.

St. Stephen’s Church in the North End of Boston.

This free concert will be a special community collaboration of artists and musicians from all over the Boston Community. NEMPAC and the Boston Landmarks Orchestra continue their partnership through this wonderful production including the Boston Landmarks Orchestra One City Choir, the NEMPAC Holiday Orchestra, NEMPAC Soloists, and the St. John School Youth Choir. The performance will be conducted by Assistant Conductor, Kristo Kondakci of the Boston Landmarks Orchestra. At this time we are accepting singers to join The One City Choir and if you are interested, please see the below for participant information and registration.

 

 

We are looking for experienced adult singers (amateur or professionals) to join our Messiah Chorus! We are in need of all voice parts!

To participate in the chorus, you must:

  1. Have at least 2 years of choral experience
  2. Be able to attend both rehearsals, dress rehearsal and performance (see below schedule)
  3. Bring your own choral score to each rehearsal and performance
  4. Complete our online registration form by Monday, November 16th. Registrations received after Nov. 16th will be out on a waitlist due to maximum capacity limits for our NEMPAC Chorus. To Register please fill out this form: CHORUS REGISTRATION

Chorus Rehearsal: Mon. Nov. 30th – 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at St. Stephen’s Church, North End

Chorus Rehearsal: Wed. Dec 2nd – 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at St. Stephen’s Church

Dress Rehearsal: Mon. Dec 7th – 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. at St. Stephen’s Church

Performance: Wed. Dec 9th – 7:00 – 8:15 p.m. (6:00 p.m. call) at St. Stephen’s Church
