The Redline Brass Quintet formed in 2008 at the New England Conservatory (originally under the name Artus). Since then the group has moved to Cambridge, attending the Longy School of Music together. Having received a generous scholarship, as part of the Outreach Fellowship program, the group has been focused on bringing educational programs to nearby schools and community programs. In 2011 RBQ was selected as the Artist Diploma ensemble at Longy.
