Join the NEMPAC Summer Concert Choir and Sing at the Hatch Shell August 1, 2018!

Who:
NEMPAC Summer Concert Choir
Conducted & directed by Alexandra Dietrich
Open to singers who are 10-15 years old

What:
The Choir will perform a 25-minute prelude to the Boston Landmarks Orchestra’s Italian night performance featuring works by Jake Heggie, Engelbert Humperdinck, Hans Krasa, Zhou Long, Verdi, and Cerise Lim Jacobs, Rachel Portman. The singers will be accompanied by piano.

When: Five July 2018 Rehearsals, one August 2018 Performance

Rehearsal Schedule:

Monday & Wednesday July 17th and 19th, 4:30 – 7:00 PM – NEMPAC
Monday & Wednesday July 24th and 25th , 4:30 – 7:00 PM – NEMPAC
Tuesday July 31st,  – 5:30 – 7:30 PM – NEMPAC

Performance:

Wednesday, August 1st 6:30 PM, sound check – tbd

*Students may miss only one rehearsal to participate*

Cost: $175 to participate. Sign up by contacting Mary at info@nempacboston.org by June 1st deadline.

Requirements to Participate: The chorus is limited to 12 singers. Participants are required to have at least 1 to 2 years of choral singing experience. Participants are excused for only one absence, otherwise cannot perform with the group on August 1st. Singers should be eager to experience this main-stage, exceled performance opportunity!
