Farayi Malek, a Grammy-nominated vocalist with Danilo Pérez’s Global Messengers, is now returning to her musical roots with a debut solo project. Raised in a small town in Southern Idaho, Farayi blends the diverse influences of gospel, American folk, blues, and jazz into her unique sound. A Salt Lick Incubator award-winner, her music showcases her effortless vocals and accessible songwriting. In addition to performing, Farayi teaches at prestigious institutions like Berklee College of Music and New England Conservatory, inspiring her students as they have inspired her. Through her music and teaching, Farayi aims to help others feel seen and at home in their uniqueness.
