Join us for an evening of joyful celebration, musical discovery, and holiday cheer at A Community in Song: NEMPAC Holiday Concert!
On Wednesday, December 9 at 7:00 PM, gather with friends, family, and neighbors at Sacred Heart Church for a festive celebration of the many musical traditions that bring our community together.
Led by Artistic Director Stefano Marchese, this special concert will highlight the rich cultural tapestry of our community through a vibrant mix of holiday music from around the world. From familiar favorites to beautiful arrangements inspired by diverse cultural traditions, the program celebrates the ways music connects us across generations, backgrounds, and traditions. Featuring the Formas String Quartet, directed by Brian Urra, and the Wellesley High School Choir, directed by Kevin McDonald, the evening will also showcase talented soprano, alto, tenor, and bass soloists, with a few familiar faces from the NEMPAC faculty potentially joining in the holiday fun!
Whether you’re humming along to a familiar tune, discovering a new holiday tradition, or simply soaking up the sounds of the season, there’s something for everyone. Come celebrate the music, the magic, and the wonderful community that makes it all possible. All ages are welcome. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Stefano Marchese
Stefano Marchese is an award-winning Italian singer-songwriter and educator. He has collaborated with Grammy winners Bobby McFerrin and Luis Enrique, and was nominated as one of the 100 most relevant Abruzzesi abroad. He teaches at Berklee and serves as Eliot School Choir Director.
