Students from the Croft School in Boston’s South End celebrated the end of the school year with a fabulous final concert on Wednesday, June 10, at St. Stephen’s Church. First and second grade students, led by NEMPAC Strings Ensemble Director and Teaching Artist Alvin Valentin, showcased the musical skills they developed throughout the year. Kindergarten students, under the direction of NEMPAC Teaching Artist Andrea La Rose, delighted the audience with five songs—including an original composition they created together.
NEMPAC is proud to continue this partnership next school year, supporting students as they transition to the newly established South End Village Academy (SEVA). We look forward to another year of inspiring young musicians through music education.
