Opera on the Prado

NEMPAC’s pop-up Opera on the Prado will feature Boston-based Emerging Artists from the NEMPAC Opera Project in Boston’s most historic and beautiful park in the North End. Located on the Freedom Trail, next to the Paul Revere Statue and just behind Old North Church, passersby, neighbors, and friends can catch singers performing.

Kelley Hollis

Kelley Hollis

Kelley Hollis is a classically trained soprano celebrated for her interpretations of new and lesser-known works. Notable performances include Rosner’s Requiem with the London Philharmonic Orchestra and a concert at Prague Castle with the Americké jaro festival. She holds degrees from Northwestern University and Boston University’s Opera Institute. Her opera credits include roles such as Rosalinda in Die Fledermaus, Mimi in La bohème, and Donna Anna in Don Giovanni. Kelley has performed at Boston Symphony Hall and has been recognized by the Metropolitan Opera National Council. She regularly performs with Boston Baroque, Boston Lyric Opera, and Juventas New Music Ensemble.


Melanie Ruckinski

Melanie Rucinski

Melanie Rucinski is a Boston-based freelance pianist and accompanist. She has performed with the Cambridge Community Chorus, NEMPAC Opera Project, and Metropolitan Chorale. Previously, she was a collaborative pianist for the Boston Children’s Chorus and the A.R.T. Institute for Advanced Theater Training. Melanie is a choral singer and oboist, having cofounded and conducted the Lambda Singers chamber choir at Harvard. She is currently the accompanist for the Jameson Singers and a Lecturer at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, teaching statistics and quantitative methods.


David Rivera Bozón

David Rivera Bozón

David Rivera Bozón, a Colombian tenor based in Boston, is recognized internationally for his extraordinary talent and warm personality. He has performed extensively in opera, stageworks, zarzuela, oratorio, concerts, recitals, and in unconventional venues, bringing his music to a wide variety of communities. David has been recognized by the Massachusetts Senate and House of Representatives for his outstanding contributions to cultural and arts events and for promoting the Italian Heritage in the United States.
