PERFORMATHON DETAILS:
ABOUT: The North End Music & Performing Arts Center’s (NEMPAC’s) annual Performathon will feature over 50 students, ensembles, and faculty performers of all ages and abilities, with the goal of raising funds to support NEMPAC’s Educational Programming and Tuition Assistance Program. Returning for its third year at the Boston Public Market, this day-long fundraiser includes individual singers, dancers, and instrumentalists, as well as student ensembles representing NEMPAC school partner run programs like Eliot Ensembles, Adult Guitar Class, and Annie Jr. cast members.
Special to this event is youth and teens supporting access to music and arts education for their peers. This year, 636 students are receiving free or discounted tuition at 13 locations in the North End, Charlestown, and South End neighborhoods.
To support the Performathon, please consider attending the event on April 5th—either in-person or virtually via our YouTube page—or by pledging a student or group online now through their individual “Pledge Me” campaign pages. See those links below!
All donations made to NEMPAC supporting the Performathon are fully tax-deductible under charity ID 04-3545228. If you have any questions or need more information on how to donate to the Performathon to support Educational Programming and our Tuition Assistance Program, please contact Development Manager, Pamela Feo at pfeo@nempacboston.org.
