10 rising stars performed a stunning Broadway Bootcamp showcase on Friday, August 15th for friends and family at the Charlestown Working Theater. The group rehearsed and trained just under one week to perform a 45-minute show that included solo acts, duets, and ensemble performances including scenes from musicals including Clue, Newsies, Wicked, and more. The performance was truly a showstopper and the best showcase yet.
The young artists were coached under the direction of NEMPAC teaching artists Abbie Anderson, stage director; Bailey Kolapudi, music director; and Schanaya Barrows, choreographer.
We are incredibly thankful to our artistic staff and interns, partners at the Charlestown Working Theater, the parents and caretakers who continue to support the development of these young artists-in-training, and of course—the rising stars!
