NEMPAC Boston was founded in 2001 with the goal of promoting and enriching the cultural life of the North End and surrounding neighborhoods through music and performing arts. Since then, the organization has grown to become a vital part of the community, offering a wide range of music and performing arts programs for all ages and levels of experience.

“Imagine the different cultures of the world, with their sounds, images, colors, flavors, and stories that meet contemporary jazz sonorities. Jazz is Latin, Jazz is Funky, Jazz is Mediterranean, Jazz is the World. Inclusion, Equity and Diversity makes jazz music the utopian model to pursue. Jazz in the Park 2019 will take the audience on a musical journey every Tuesday night in July on The Greenway. MIXCLA will open the series with Latin vibes, Gabrielle Goodman will enchant The Greenway with her voice, Scanzonati will take us to the Mediterranean waters to hear the sounds of Italy. Sawaari closes the series bringing on The Greenway the most ancient and fascinating Indian, Arabic, and North African sounds.”
