Melanie Donnelly

Melanie Donnelly is a performer and teaching artist based in Boston. She holds a BA in Music from Vassar College, and has spent the past 4 years working as the K-5 lead theatre teacher at Angier After School Program in Newton. She has also taught theatre for ages 4-13 with Cape Cod Sea Camps and Boston Children’s Theatre. She currently performs with Talewise as an educational storyteller, and she is a singer with the Tanglewood Festival Chorus, Nightingale Vocal Ensemble, and the Oriana Consort. She additionally has performance, stage management, and music directing credits with Create. Inspire. Change. Theatre Company, Needham Community Theatre, Boston Opera Collaborative, and Vassar’s Future Waitstaff of America. She values the collaborative creativity of theatre-making, and is passionate about making art accessible and equitable!
